Malidain Vineyard in the Loire Valley: let's talk about it
Romain Malidain, can you introduce your vineyard?
« Our family estate covers 33 hectares in the town of La Limouzinière and is composed of brown soil and developed on green amphibolite rock. A project has been close to our heart for several years: our estate is in conversion to organic farming.
In this process, we work the soils mechanically using an automated robot guided by GPS. A range of 18 cuvées with 11 grape varieties including melon b for our Muscadet Côtes de grandlieu, chardonnay, sauvignon, Viognier, Muscat, Grolleau, Pinot Noir, vinified in white, rosé or red, dry or soft, with traditional methods and a natural wine (maceration wine). »
You will be soon attending the Tastin’France Amsterdam. What is your message to wine lovers ?
"A range of 18 wines in organic conversion vinified by a winemaker."
